Inflame Internship

We are pleased to let you know that Inflame now has a 2nd tier internship available. We long to see worshippers who know how to move and lead others in the authority that Christ has given us! The Inflame internship is setup as a practical follow-on from the school where graduates get the opportunity to further develop their leadership ability and gain first hand ministry experience in the worship / levitical ministry.

The Internship is split into two separate phases. Students are able to apply for one or both of the internship phases.

Phase One:

Phase One is primarily a Worship Ministry Internship.

The Phase One internship is served at Te Aroha Baptist Church where Josh & Amberley are the worship pastors. Interns will have hands on experience and training in leading a Prophetic Worship Ministry . They will learn how to build and maintain a successful culture of Prophetic Worship and how to lead people in this practically.

Duration: 6 months. June 6th to November 25th 2011.

Cost: $0 - The internship itself is run at no charge. However, the interns will need to live in Te Aroha and support themselves for the duration of the internship. We will provide as much assistance as we can in finding accommodation and work. The church here is right on board with this internship and will help as much as possible also.

Requirements: Completion of Inflame School of Prophetic Worship.

Role and Responsibility Phase One:

The Phase One Internship provides a practical training ground for those students who would like to learn how to lead a worship ministry. This Internship provides students hands on experience in the running of a worship ministry and also teaches how to create and maintain a culture of Prophetic Worship amongst a community of people. Interns will play a major part in the running of the worship ministry alongside Worship Pastors, Josh and Amberley Klinkenberg.

Interns will be ministering with Josh and Amberley and will have the opportunity to travel with them to minister in churches and events around New Zealand. Interns will also play a major part in the running of week long worship schools and weekend worship workshops.

This will provide you with valuable leadership experience that will allow you to serve effectively in leading a worship ministry. We believe you will get keys and insight on how to usher in and sustain a worship filled culture.

The aim within this internship is to train up those who are called to leadership in this ministry, giving them the keys and understanding necessary to allow a Spirit filled worship culture to be cultivated within their home, church and ministry.

Phase Two:

Phase Two is primarily a Worship Leading Internship.

This internship is served at the school where interns work with the staff in upholding the culture of worship throughout the school.

Duration: 3 months. This runs alongside the Inflame School of Worship

Cost: $2490, this includes food and accommodation. (Flights to and from the island are separate)

Requirements: Completion of Inflame School of Prophetic Worship. (It is NOT necessary for students to complete Phase One in order to attend Phase Two)

Role & Responsibility Phase Two:

The Inflame Phase Two Internship is a place where students can take a 'step up' from the training environment of the school. You will not be treated like a student and because of this there is a higher expectation upon interns to manage themselves in their day to day activities. Interns will play a big part in keeping the worship culture of the school consistently going, the interns are responsible for the 'engine room' of the school; that is, the culture & day to day atmosphere of worship. The influence and success of Inflame comes from the culture of worship that we so heavily focus on. As an intern you will be responsible for making sure this 'engine' driving the school is fueled and maintained.

As an Intern you will have occasional classes separate from the students where you will be able to meet with school leaders and guest speakers to talk on a deeper level about the worship ministry. This will ensure that a deeper level of training and impartation can take place. Interns will also have a mentoring program with the school leaders that is aimed at preparing you for your particular ministry and calling.

Interns must understand that although they will certainly play a big role in helping the school leaders and staff they themselves are NOT staff. This is important to understand so you do not overstep your boundaries as an intern. The overall focus of the interns is servant-hood. Your role is to serve in 2 main areas:

1. Serving the students - Interns will do this by sustaining an atmosphere of worship and a culture of honour & love for each other. Interns will also need to be available to assist students in their bands and song-writing amongst other things.

2. Serving the school leaders & staff - Interns will be helping the school leaders and staff with day to day tasks, as required. This will involve a number of responsibilities such as worship leading, assisting with class activation times, ministry times, setup and more.

Servant-hood is a characteristic of the Kingdom, to which the true value of can be easily over looked. We are indeed called to be sons, daughters, friends, lovers, and co-labourers but all these are based upon first learning what it is to serve. Jesus Himself came to serve. The disciples served Jesus in life and ministry before He released them and sent them out as friends.

In teaching interns what it is to serve, we are equipping a people who will be trust worthy in the leadership of others. This people will not only have an anointing of favor on them but also great influence!
